Hi, I’m Stella.

After years of working in women’s fashion, I now bring my experience as a textile engineer and pattern maker to every Stella Pattern Studio design. I create PDF sewing patterns for little dolls, soft toys, clothes, and fabric dollhouses.

I know that sewing something new can sometimes feel overwhelming. That is why I carefully prepare every pattern with clear instructions, helpful photos, and extra support when you need it. I want you to enjoy each step and feel proud as a simple piece of fabric becomes something special for someone you love.

How Stella Pattern Studio began

My love for sewing started long before Stella Pattern Studio. I grew up around fabric, thread, and women who knew how to make things with their hands, and later turned that love into my profession.

After years in women’s fashion, my sister introduced me to the world of handmade toys. Together, we started PetrasWonderland, and that is where I discovered how much I loved designing tiny dolls, soft toys, and little fabric worlds.

Over time, I wanted to do more than make them myself. I wanted to help other people sew them too. That is how Stella Pattern Studio began.

What matters to me

I want my patterns to feel doable, even when the project is small and detailed. I test the construction, think carefully about the order of each step, and explain the parts that can be tricky.

Many of my customers sew for their children or grandchildren. Some are returning to sewing after many years. Others are trying doll making for the first time. Wherever you are starting from, I want you to feel that you have clear instructions and help when you need it.

For me, handmade toys are about more than sewing. They are about making something with your own hands that can be played with, loved, remembered, and sometimes passed on.
